As part of its mission to enhance the country’s digital infrastructure and foster innovation, the Ministry is seeking to fill the position of Information Communication Technology Assistant III within the dynamic State Department for ICT and the Digital Economy. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of ICT systems that support the delivery of government services. As an ICT Assistant, you will be at the forefront of implementing technological solutions that enhance efficiency, improve user experiences, and ensure secure data management.

Your Responsibilities

As an Information Communication Technology Assistant III, your work will focus on the following areas:

  1. ICT Systems Support:
    • Providing first-line support for technical issues related to hardware, software, and applications.
    • Installing, configuring, and maintaining ICT equipment and systems to ensure seamless operations.
  2. Network Management:
    • Assisting with the maintenance and monitoring of network infrastructure, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other communication systems.
    • Identifying and resolving network issues to maintain connectivity and reduce downtime.
  3. Data Management and Security:
    • Supporting data backup, recovery, and archiving processes to ensure information security and integrity.
    • Monitoring ICT systems for potential vulnerabilities and implementing measures to address them.
  4. End-User Training and Support:
    • Offering guidance to users on how to effectively utilize ICT systems and applications.
    • Assisting users in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to system performance.
  5. System Maintenance and Upgrades:
    • Performing regular system checks, updates, and upgrades to enhance functionality and prevent disruptions.
    • Collaborating with teams to ensure that all ICT systems meet organizational requirements.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintaining detailed logs of technical issues, solutions, and system performance to improve service delivery.
    • Preparing reports and recommendations for system improvements.
