We are currently looking for a Technician Cold Drink Equipment to join our dynamic team at Equator Bottlers Limited on a fixed-term basis. This role is integral in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and reliability of our cooling equipment and dispensers in the Kisumu region.
Key Purpose of the Role
The primary responsibility of the Technician Cold Drink Equipment is to safeguard company assets and ensure our cooling equipment (fridges, dispensers, and chillers) remains in optimal working condition through regular service, maintenance, and effective issue resolution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Technician Cold Drink Equipment, your responsibilities will include:
- Cooler Repairs and Maintenance
- Inspecting and conducting necessary repairs for coolers in the region based on occurrences.
- Creating and implementing a planned preventative maintenance schedule for coolers to ensure minimal breakdowns.
- Dispenser Sanitization
- Preparing and maintaining a schedule for sanitization of dispensers in the region.
- Ensuring dispensers are sanitized according to set standards and schedules.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports detailing breakdowns, services performed, and customer complaints.
- Maintaining accurate records of all company assets in the region, including the location and number of coolers and dispensers.
- Chiller Servicing and Plant Support
- Collaborating with the Technical Manager to service chillers at the plant and address any arising breakdowns.
- Providing technical advice on refrigeration equipment and requirements for plant operations as necessary.
- Spare Parts Support
- Advising and assisting in sourcing refrigeration spare parts to ensure uninterrupted operations.

- A valid driver’s license with at least three years of continuous driving experience and a clean driving record.
