Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Human Resource Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and labor laws and be committed to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and manage relationships with staff at all levels.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities, with experience in handling employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HR software.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Manage performance appraisals and training programs.
- Maintain employee records and manage HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Handle employee queries and provide HR support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Professional certification in HR (CHRP, CHRM) is an advantage.
- 2-3 years of HR experience.
- Knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
