Position Overview:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, Direct Sales Representatives play a pivotal role in acquiring new business within assigned sales locations. This role is on a 12-month contract basis, providing you with an opportunity to hone your skills and make significant strides in your sales career.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Direct Sales Representative, you will:

  1. Source Prospective Customers:
    • Leverage multiple channels such as referrals, cross-selling opportunities, and bank-organized sales activations to identify potential customers.
    • Utilize sales leads provided by the bank to maximize customer acquisition.
  2. Explain Product Features:
    • Provide detailed explanations of KCB Bank’s financial products, ensuring customers understand the benefits and features of each offering.
    • Uphold the principle of treating customers fairly during every interaction.
  3. Guide and Support Customers:
    • Assist customers in filling out application forms for their desired products.
    • Review and verify application details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Authenticate customer information by comparing original documents (e.g., ID or passport) with photocopies.
  4. Handle Documentation:
    • Ensure safe custody of all customer documents under your care.
    • Submit completed applications to the Sales Manager or Retail Support Team within 24 hours.
  5. Prospect Additional Sales:
    • Identify other bank products that meet the specific needs of customers and propose tailored solutions.
  6. Feedback and Reporting:
    • Relay customer feedback or complaints to the relevant Sales or Branch Manager for resolution.
    • Share market insights from the field to help improve the bank’s products and services.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the leadership team.

  • Education: A degree from a recognized university.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • A proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets within tight deadlines.
