Job Description:
As an Engineer Network Assurance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of Safaricom’s network. You will monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network performance to maintain high service quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively monitoring network performance metrics and resolving potential issues.
- Performing root cause analysis for network incidents and outages.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve network performance and availability.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive network documentation and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.
2. BSS Engineer, Radio Network Implementation and Operations

Division: Technology Division
Job Description:
As a BSS Engineer, Radio Network Implementation and Operations, you will focus on the deployment, optimization, and maintenance of Safaricom’s radio network infrastructure. You will ensure that all network systems deliver the required performance for seamless communication services. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and configuring Base Station Subsystem (BSS) equipment.
- Conducting site surveys and network planning for optimal coverage.
- Monitoring and analyzing radio network performance to resolve any operational issues.
- Leading fault management and resolution activities for BSS infrastructure.
