Characteristics of a Good Resume.

1- Use only Cambria, Calibri or Helvetica fonts.
This is important, you know. Many jobseekers submit resumes full of strange fonts. HR also gets dizzy reading what you write in your resume. So avoid it, okay?

2- The margins of the 4 corners of the resume must be 1 inch.
Basically, this is to make the resume look neat. HR will be satisfied and it won’t hurt their eyes because it’s neat and organized.

3- Clear headings. You can make the font a little bigger or use capital letters.
Apart from the type of font, sizing is also important. If there is something you want to highlight in your resume, then make the font a little bigger, so HR can and will easily distinguish it.

4- Don’t be too dense. Make sure there is space.
This is a mistake that many people make. Did you know that HR only takes a few minutes to filter resumes. So if the resume is very congested, they will just reject it because they don’t have time to read it.

5- One page is enough.
If you want to send a resume to apply for a job, make sure the resume is only one or two pages. Don’t send a resume that is up to 5 pages, there are many cases where HR won’t even read the entire resume.

A resume that is pleasing to the eye can make HR read the resume straight away.
