Industrial Attachment Advertisement- (January to March 2025 INTAKE)

Kenya Broadcasting Corporation is a State Corporation established under the KBC Act (Cap. 221) and operating under the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy.  The Corporation is committed to excellence in broadcast services to our audience, customers and the public. Its aim is to inform, educate and entertain the public through Radio services, Television services and other Digital Media platforms.

The Corporation wishes to announce industrial attachment opportunities to continuing Undergraduate/Diploma/Certificate level students in order to gain practical exposure and on the job experience in a workplace environment, to enable them apply knowledge related to their respective areas of study; learn new skills; develop professional networks and understand work place expectations. This programme is in line with Government’s Youth Empowerment Project to develop a pool of young talents for the Kenyan Labour Market.

Duration of attachment

The industrial attachment opportunities are available in various Departments for a maximum (non renewable) period of three (3) months with effect from 2^nd January, 2025 up to 31^st March, 2025. The industrial attachment intake is based on the following criteria:-

1. Field of specialization and relevance of the course
2. The Corporation’s ability to accommodate the trainee
3. Availability of requisite facilities and attachment slots
4. First come first served basis
5. Year of study( 3^rd & 4^th year of study for undergraduate students  and 2^nd year of study for Diploma students).

Requirements:-

1. 3^rd or 4^th year undergraduate students from a recognized University or 2^nd year Diploma student from a recognized College.
2. Complete online the application form and clearly indicate the relevant department for
3. Recommendation letter from the university or College. (Attach)
4. Copy of National Identification card/Passport (Attach)
5. Evidence of registration for the Attachment unit.
