6 Reasons to Reject a Job Offer

  1. If the company goes silent for weeks and then suddenly calls you back for another interview out of the blue. That company doesn’t deserve you as an employee. REJECT.
  2. If the company asks you to work for free under the excuse of it being “part of the interview process.” REJECT.
  3. If the company demands proof of your previous salary (e.g., pay stubs) from past jobs. REJECT.
  4. If the company insists on speaking directly to your current boss (which could risk you losing your current job). REJECT.
  5. If the first interview goes smoothly, but the company invites you for a second interview without providing an estimated salary range for the role. REJECT.
  6. If during the interview, you’re looked down upon or treated poorly, chances are they’ll treat you even worse if you’re hired. REJECT.
