Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and driven Human Resource Intern to join our dynamic team. As an HR Intern at Mwananchi Credit you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resource management and will be involved in supporting our HR team in daily tasks and projects.
Desired Skills:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Help with employee onboarding and orientation.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in organizing staff training and development programs.
- Support the HR team with performance management processes.
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing HR documents and assisting in payroll preparation.
- Assist in employee engagement and wellness programs.
- Respond to basic HR-related queries from employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Basic understanding of HR functions and labor laws.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in an HR department is an added advantage.
