In line with the Kenyan Government’s Youth Initiative to nurture a pool of young, skilled professionals for the Kenyan labor market, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) invites applications from recent graduates holding Bachelor’s Degrees and Diplomas to join its January to December 2025 Internship Programme.
This internship aims to equip young individuals with hands-on experience in their respective fields of expertise, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice. Through this program, participants will gain invaluable insights and practical skills, enhancing their employability while contributing to KRA’s mandate.

Eligibility Criteria for Internship Applicants
Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the program:
- Age & Nationality:
- Must be a Kenyan citizen aged 35 years or below by their next birthday.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Must have graduated with either a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution between January 2023 and December 2024.
- Availability:
- Must be available full-time for the entire 12-month internship period.
- Work Experience:
- Should not have participated in another internship or gained work experience in their field of specialization after graduation.
Pupillage Program (January 2025 to January 2026)
KRA also offers a specialized Pupillage Program for graduates of the Kenya School of Law. This initiative supports Law graduates in attaining admission to the bar by providing hands-on training and mentorship.
Eligibility Criteria for Pupillage
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age & Nationality:
- Must be a Kenyan citizen aged 35 years or below, aligning with the youth program guidelines.
- Educational Background:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and be pursuing the Advocates Training Program at the Kenya School of Law between January 2023 and December 2024.
- Availability:
- Must be available full-time for the 12-month duration of the program.
- Additional Requirements:
- Successful candidates must submit an introduction letter from the Kenya School of Law upon selection.
Note: Although this program will commence in January 2025, applications must be submitted during the December 2024 intake period.

- Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend:
- Degree holders: Kshs. 25,000
- Diploma holders: Kshs. 18,000
